Description

Mushroom Chowder Recipe using Maggie and Mary's Dry Soup Mix

Ingredients

1 pk
Potato Bacon Soup (Maggie and Mary Soup Mix)
2 T
Butter
6
Scallions, (Chopped)
1 lb
Mushrooms (Sliced)
1 clv
Garlic (Minced)

Instructions

Prepare soup according to package instructions.  20 minutes before the soup is ready, saute the mushrooms in the butter with the garlic and scallions for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring often.  Drain.  Add mushroom/garlic/scallion mixture to simmering suop for remaining cook time.  When ready to serve, ladle into bowls and garnish with chives.
